HanPL
Hey all I just came back to Skyrim after long break so I updated all my mods up to date.Everything was working fine untill I changed view to 3-rd person and I saw that my character is smaller than every other NPC in the world.I tried the console command to change size but when I try to crafting|cooking etc my character get back to previous size, also tried starting new game but same problem.When I look through 1-st person everything is normal but in 3-rd person npc are much taller. http://thumbnails103.imagebam.com/21718/31c58a217176018.jpg Load Order • 00 Skyrim.esm • 01 Update.esm • 02 Dawnguard.esm • 03 HearthFires.esm • 04 AmethystHollowsMaster.esm • 05 Omegared99-Compilation.esm • 06 AOM.esm • 07 Evil Lair of Hydra.esm • 0A AP Skyrim.esm • 0B ApachiiHair.esm • 0C ApachiiHairMales.esm • 0D RaceCompatibility.esm • 0E BBLuxurySuite.esm • 0F portal2mod.esp • 10 Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp [Version 1.2.2b] • 11 WMGAtmosphericENBPlugin.esp • 12 Dark Dungeons for ENB.esp • 13 AOM.esp • 15 Angelic_Demonic.esp • 16 BBP_ArmorPack.esp • 17 BBLSspouse.esp • 18 Bingles_Buff_Armors.esp • 19 Cloaks - Player Only.esp • 1A Cloaks.esp • 1B Cloaks - No Imperial.esp • 1C FlameAtronachArmor.esp • 1D FullBootForKKSA.esp • 1E GattiQBCollection.esp • 20 Neo's Oriental Dress.esp • 21 Omegared99-WeaponSets.esp • 22 Pushup-Bikini.esp • 23 R18Pn - Argent Iron Armor.esp • 24 Remodeled Armor.esp • 25 SuccubusCBBE3GiftByNausicaa.esp • 26 VickysArmor.esp • 27 warchiefarmor.esp • 28 yangyang_BeautyQueen.esp • 29 AmethystHollowsUpdate.esp • 2A BBLuxurySuiteExt.esp • 2B The Asteria - Dwemer Airship.esp • 2C Guard Dialogue Overhaul.esp • 2D zzEDialog.esp • 2E ASX_Spells.esp • 2F MidasSkyrim.esp • 30 dovahkiinrelax.esp • 31 FNISspells.esp • 35 SummonSuccubus.esp • 36 Crimson Tide - Blood.esp • 37 SkyRe_Main.esp • 38 SkyRe_Combat.esp • 39 SkyRe_EncounterZones.esp • 3A SkyRe_EnemyAI.esp • 3B SkyRe_EnemyScaling.esp • 3C N_43 Hair Pack.esp • 3D TheEyesOfBeauty.esp • 3E LunariRace.esp • 3F TemptressVixen.esp • 40 UFO - Ultimate Follower Overhaul.esp • 41 UFO - Dawnguard AddOn.esp • 42 Amanda.esp • 43 Lyla.esp • 44 Michelle.esp • 45 Misha.esp • 46 multimarriage.esp • 47 CerwidenCompanion.esp • 48 Spousetocustomhome.esp • 49 BBLSHousecarlsmovein.esp • 4A BBLSVisitors.esp • 4B BBLuxurySuiteClassier.esp • 4C Alternate Start - Live Another Life.esp [Version 2.1.6] • 4D EnhancedCharacterEdit.esp • 4E SkyRe_Races.esp • 4F ethereal_elven_overhaul.esp • 50 Purewaters.esp • 51 MacKom_LoreStylesHairSet.esp
Zombra
I noticed this too. Also just came back to Skyrim after a long break. I actually noticed it in first person ... "Why am I looking up at this guy?" Very odd.
HanPL
Well I re-installed game removed all mods made clean save and...characters is still smaller than NPC.I think this must be patch related.
OakRain
@HanPL - have you tried starting a new game with no mods enabled?I would imagine character height will be normal. After reading some comments on the Bethesda unofficial patch forums I am starting to think that it is not possible to make a genuinely clean save in Skyrim if there have been any mods previously installed on a character. The root of the problem seems to be the way in which script data gets permanently burned in to a save profile and as yet there are no tools or apps available to remove old script data from save games. HanPL
Yep started new game on "clean " save but character still appears to be smaller than rest of the npc in the world. Not really big problem since I mostly play in 1-st person but it's annoying when switching to 3-rd person,
