Enserric the evolving weapon

Looking at Rune Axe from Dawnguard I remembered about Enserric the evolving weapon from Neverwinter Nights: Hordes of the Underdark ... this weapon talks because it has inside trapped the soul of Enserric. Initially, the weapon appeared as a long sword, but due in part of Enserric’s presence within the sword, the size might have been varying, the possible shapes including, a dagger, a short sword or a great sword.

This weapon should evolve with the number of undead killed with it, because Enserric looks for revenge against all the undead since an Arch Lich killed him and trapped his soul into the weapon and also have some funny remarks/curse/swearing when kills different types of enemies ... something like : "today we eat dragon stake", or "a good orc is a dead orc" .... etc...When you're about to die it tells you to drink a health potion "Listen up you dumbass , drink some health potions or you're gonna die".When you kill some dragons with it , Enserric protest that he killed the "big lizard"and done all the heavy work but everyone cheers you as "Dragonborn" :P

Weapon should be daedric quality and every time you improve it to the grindstone , Enserric rejoice because he drinks the sweet blood from daedra heart (or protest that you grind his teeth) .

This are just examples of dialogue ....

Also it can have an quest ... Enserric give itself to the Dragonborn (by a quest via currier) in order to proceed his revenge against that Arch Lich ...

I was thinking that at the beginning when you found the weapon , it is given to you by the Enserric's spirit (and you chose what type of weapon it should be via dialogue).

When you take the weapon you will have also a spell with his summoning , or he appear automatically from time to time depends of the quests stage .

I don't know if the talking weapon can be done .... maybe the spirit appear and comment after battles/his quest progression ...

When his spirit appear/disappear from the sword, it will be nice to have a visual effect like the one of soul trapping , but the soul not came/lives the weapon not your body.

You can make weapons throw out dialog, its just getting them to not overlap when they make sounds thats difficult.

 

Hit, put away, take out, miss, impact, block/parry, all throw out sound files, but if it is to long you can get overlap of sound effects.

 

Items and static can thow out constant sound as well, just look at spacecore, I'm sure there is a way to get weapons to dialog randomly.
