Faloccisor
Hey, if anyone can help me out I'd really appreciate it. I need to know if it's possible to create new Head Parts using the Creation Kit. I'm not talking about texture packs here, but a new object that can be accessed under the Head Part selection menu. If not, which program will help me do this, and can I then access the file with Creation Kit? I'm pretty sure the answer is going to be that I need another program, so the last part of my question would be the most important to get an answer to. I'm really sick of the creepy clone children and so want to create new faces for them. However there is no way to manipulate their features like you can with adult characters. I've tried putting adult heads on childrens bodies and trying to make the adult heads as childlike as possible.... but it just looks creepy. I'll have to create an entirely new head (but hopefully still using the same wire frame as the original child head). Another question is, is it possible to add in that data from a completley different game, or would it conflict? For example if I could copy faces from the Sims that would be awesome... but I have a feeling you are going to shoot that dream down with the cold hard bullet of reality. Please help! nuska
Look into TRI files (there's a Blender importer/exporter on the Nexus) and The Conformulator. TRIs are Skyrim's morph data files and work pretty flexibly, all the racial head shapes and noses and lips and such are pulled from those. The Conformulator is a tool that can be used to generate TRIs for models, which you can then use to build morph sets and apply those in the CK - though as the children already have lip sync files and expressions, it's worth pulling those out of Meshes.BSA and examining them and cross-referencing to how the full-fledged races are handled. You could probably load up the lipsync TRI, empty out all but the Basis morph and then recreate the facial feature morphs as they're done for the adult races, then hook that new TRI file up through the CK. It'll take a fair bit of trial and error but it should be the best solution to your problem.
