100rads
Well, I feel like the odd one out here. :( When I heard about fallout 3, I remembered that I had bought a game called "Fallout" a long time ago ;), so I went looking for it. I only just started the first one, but it looked very enjoyable and I plan on playing through both of them.
TehProfileth
I am kind of wondering why you put Oblivion and Fallout 3 separately, we all know that Fallout 3 is just a well done Oblivion total conversion mod lol.
Armadous
I separated them because I was wanted to know how many people came to Fallout 3 that didn't come through Oblivion first. So far one person exists somewhere in here that is playing Fallout III that never touched Oblivion.
furtim
I'm sort of weird in that somehow I managed to play Fallout Tactics first. It was ok, but not great. I was curious enough to eventually look up the originals, and ever since I've been very glad that I did. :) (I avoided Brotherhood of Steel. I can't qualify with "like the plague", since I was too busy ignoring it to actually avoid it.)
chrisquidco123
I bought Fallout 2 for £25 when it first came out after playing the demo on a pc gamer demo disk! Loved it! Tried fallout 1 sometime later but never really got into it! Funny thing is i pre-orded fallout 3 for the pc at game and paid £26.99 Only £2 more than the last installment over a decade later! I think Bethesda released the pc version at a low cost as they knew most pc owners would download, instead relying on the console market to pay for producing the game! For this very reason i think bethesda kick ass! Anyone else agree??
Armadous
Did you get a discount for pre-ordering? It retails for $49.99 here (£32.87) on the PC. They are still charging more for the console versions though, $59.99.

"Game" is usualy an expensive store here in the uk but when i saw the pre-order price i jumped at it! £49.99 on Consoles over here!
abisha
never heared of Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel. most likely not a PC game personally i think fallout 2 is the best of all fallout series atmfallout 3 missing lots of things witch i can't really consider it a fallout anymore, it's more a FPS game
Ironwood
I played FO1, FO2, Tactics, Oblivion, and currently FO3. I also still have all the fallout games and keep an old computer around just to play my older FO games.
xchapelx
I've played all but the console BOS aswell. For me, Fallout 1/2 are the best RPG's of all time... bar none... no exceptions. Fallout Tactics, despite not being being made by Black Isle and therefor not considered Fallout canon was still an enjoyable game none the less. <offtopic>I also believe F3 is an overly PC fallout but I have every faith that the modding community (if ever given a CS) will make great strides towards correcting this. I've read in a few threads about how 10 years ago the world wasn't nearly as PC so things like hookers, drug use/addiction, child killing, grave digging, etc didn't even get mentioned but nooooo not today, for fear of offending some overly sensistive minority of the populace. :wallbash: </offtopic>
