evertiro
So here's a fun one that I've been puzzling over for way too long... If you look at a unique horse or dog anywhere in the world, or any humanoid NPC, it displays the actor name under the crosshair. Other creatures only display their name/race when actually in combat. I have a non-follower, unique, friendly actor based on a frost troll that is part of a mod I'm working on. It's a custom actor using the EncTrollFrost base and inheriting only traits and stats. It's flagged as unique and properly named, but the name only displays if you attack it and it enters combat status. I'm trying to figure out how to get it to display just by looking at it similar to horses/dogs. Can anyone give me some direction?
davethepak
Sounds like the game does not recognize it as an activator (something you can activate). I would suggest comparing it to some other npc records and look for other flags or differences. Or rather - does it have any options if you activate it? Any voice interactions? Or try making it a follower and see if the game gives it any options. (add it to the potential follower faction 5c84d I believe).
evertiro
Fixed, actually it's the Race Allow PC Dialog option.
