Moksha8088
Updated to the latest versions of SKSE64 and F4SE as well. My problem is that neither version of the script extension loaders will start the game, although the game runs without them. The file version numbers are listed as the right match for the new game executables but they do not launch the games. I extracted them the same as always. If anyone has a suggestion I would like to hear it.
wfandrews
Are your games modded? If they are that is your problem. If they are not modded make sure you are running the updated version of the games.
anjenthedog
If you're talking about having updated Skyrim SE from 1.5.80 to 1.5.97 (and replacing SKSE 2.0.16 with 2.0.17), remember that any mod that's SKSE version dependent will also need to be updated (and updateable!) . So, either update all the affected mods OR (if you know what they each connect to), disable any mods that are themselves dependent on SKSE version or dependent on mods that are which haven't been updated To check on the status of the current conversion process, visit Lover's Lab and check the "conversion tracking thread" . It seems that most have been updated, but there are a few that are used by quite a few people that are still awaiting action.
Moksha8088
All upgradeable changes have been made. It still will not work. Perhaps the best advice is to never allow an upgrade.
wfandrews
It usually takes about two to three weeks for mod authors to upgrade their mods, if the mods that need upgrading are not done by then they probably are not going to get upgraded. My advice would be to not upgrade your game or just not play it for two or three weeks. To never allow an upgrade is impracticable as it basically means you are pretty much setting a cut off date to playing SSE. I believe the most sensible practice is to not upgrade your game for two or three weeks and then start a new game and test your mods as you install them. I like SSE too much to abandon it so, like a lot of people, I will carp and complain about the updates but in the end live with them.
Moksha8088
Think I have solved the problem of the script extension loaders not working for both SSE and Fallout 4 to needing to update the firmware for my new Samsung C drive. Everything seems to run for SSE and I how just have to update the script extension dependent mods for FO4.
