So i had a warpaint made by DomainWolf of a companion in SWTOR named Jaesa Willsaam. it is for my update of said companion follower for Skyrim (not SE). however when I put said warpaint in to the Skyrim/Data/texture/actors/character/character assets/tintmasks I get what you see below

if I attempt to use the warpaint as a replacer in DomainWolf's Vanilla Warpaints Absolution mod I get what you see below

however in-game when using the racemenu on my own character it shows up completely fine, as seen below

can anyone please help me get this working. I was hoping to have my follower tested and released by Tuesday but at this point I don't see that happening

The CK doesn't handle face tintmasks very well. IIRC, it's a problem with image resolution. You could try resizing the warpaint mask to match your face texture resolution, but I don't know if that will work. You could also try resizing your warpaint mask down to the resolution that the CK generates the tintmask DDS file at, but this might look bad.

You may need to Photoshop your own face tintmask. Generate the FaceGen data without the warpaint and then resize the resolutions to match (if necessary) and apply the warpaint to the generated DDS tintmask file. I've never done this, so you may have to play around with the transparency settings to get it to look right. Not sure if there's a better way to make your own tintmask.

ok thats new, i used to have no problems when the old nexusmod manager was around. but ever since i moved Mod Orginizer 2 i get this. so i not sure what to do.

also it does not explain why when I place my replacer warpaint for the femaleheadrnord_03 it appears in the ck as the normal nord 03 warpaint

edit: i did just find npc edit would this be an alternative for making the follower
