[Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul] Game does not launch

Hi,

 

I have installed Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul, and now Oblivion does not launch at all. I see a black screen and then return to window.

I use oblivion mod manager, but I do not use any other mod.

 

Any idea on what happened? And how I can fix it? If I desactivate Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul in mod manager, the game launches again.

 

Oh btw I use the 1.33 full version.

First, be sure you have patched the game to the latest version. I also recommend the unofficial patches. Then, I'm not sure, but I believe Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul requires OBSE to work also. The problem you describe is what happens when you try to start the game with a mod that requires OBSE and OBSE is not started first.

 

Be sure to read the read me and follow the installation instructions for OBSE as it is not a mod and does not install like a mod. Then, It MUST be started before you start Oblivion. either by using the OBSE loader, or the Launch Oblivion function in OBMM, which will automatically start OBSE then Oblivion if it is installed.
