Semirhage
Well, now that I've managed to contract Vampirism (and, dude, it's so COOL!!! my gorgeous little Semirhage is even more godlike, now =]). Really, the only downside (once you have the Dragon Bone Curiass) is the sunlight damage... and that's fixed easy enough with being careful. Sorry, I'm still excited... =] On to the question: [Long Version] Does anyone know anything about the Vampire Clans? And, in particular, how to join one? I read somewhere, a while ago, that there are the main game quests, as well as Vampire quests, and you can't do both, or something. I'm imagining that the Vampire one's have something to do with joining a clan. I know the name of one (the Quarra) but nothing more, because a whole bunch of Quarra went nuts on me when I entered their little Dwemer ruin, filled with 'Cattle'. So, the compressed version: Can you join a Vampire clan? Who, what, when, where, etc.? Oh, yes one more question. Does anyone knows what happens when a Vampire becomes a Werewolf? I.E, what'll happen to my Vampirism when I get hold of Bloodmoon? (I'm hoping it won't make Bloodmoon stupidly easy...)

HeLLL
I think you can only do quests for the quarra clan <stand to be corrected there> There are plugins like a Quarra Quest plugin that enables you to rise through the ranks of a vampire clan

Racius
*spoiler* All three clans have Quests, but only 2 or 3, and you dont advance in the clan hierachy, you just gain the services and the option to feed from the cattle in the vampires stronghold/homes to replenish your health Other than that, there are quest mods, or you can go and get the cure from the Daedric Shrine north of suran, after hunting 2 fairly powerfull creatures and losing all the abilities you gained with Vampirism, and becoming immune to contracting it again
cmac
The Berne clan, lead by Raxle Berne, is based at Galom Daeus, a Dwemer observatory in the northern part of the Molag Amur mountain range. Berne vampires recieve a 20 point boost in Agility, Sneak, Unarmored, and Hand to Hand skills. Berne Vampires are the more stealth oriented ones. Aundae vampires, more magickally inclined, recieve the following bonuses: 20 point boost in Short Blade, Willpower, Mysticism, amd Destruction. The main Aundae vampire lair is Ashmalech, a tomb on an island southwest of Sheogorad. Quarra vampires, who primarily reside in Druscashti, another Dwemer ruin southwest of the Urshilaku camp, mostly rely on combat skills to subdue their prey. Volrina Quarra heads the Quarra clan. Quarra vampires recieve a 20- point boost in Blunt Weapon, Hand to Hand, and Heavy Armour, as well as 20 added points to Strenght. REASONS TO PLAY AS A VAMPIRE: - To do vampire quests: A vampire can do 11/17 quests in a given game. Three of these are specific to the PC's clan. - To play as an incredibly powerful character. In addition to the attribute and skill boosts linked specifically to your clan, all vampires recieve the following as well: 20 point boost in Strength, Willpower, Speed, and 30- point boosts in Sneak, Athletics, Acrobatics, H2H, Unarmored, Mysticism, Illusion, and Destruction. The player also recieves two speical spells: Vampire Touch, which saps the targets' health and gives it to you, and Vampire Levitate, which is a longer-lasting, more potent Levitate spell. All vampires are immune to Paralysis and Common Disease, as well as having a 50% resistance to normal weapons. A detriment to your state of super-being is not being able to go out in the sun, not being able to communicate with others, excepting fellow vampires, Telvanni, and Mages Guild Members, and having to rely on the three clans' smiths and traders for items and armour repair. The PC cannot become a werewolf and a vampire at the same time- the game has disallowed this. Before the patch, one could use the Ring of Hircine to make themselves a were-vampire, and the PC's head would turn into a disturbing, fleshy-coloured bubble.
