TessaXYZ
Hi! I'm dipping my toes into modding, but the waters are a bit murky for me right now. Looking for some words of advice. I'm thinking about making a replacement mod for potion meshes. It's tough to know exact what to google because I'm not all that familiar with the process, so I'd really appreciate something filling the gaps: I have Nifskope, Blender, Photoshop, and DDS conversion set up and ready to go. My understanding is that I need to extract the meshes and textures from the BSAs, open the mesh in Nifskope, export as OBJ, edit to my heart's content in Blender, and then convert back to nif with Nifskope, export the texture map blank, edit in photoshop, apply it to the nif in Nifskope, and save out the files with the same folder/naming structure of the original. Am I missing something important here? Am I completely off the mark? Thanks!
