anjenthedog
If you didn't quarantine the post-installation game by using a "test" gamesave, then it's possible there are lingering elements from those mod installations leftover in your save file(s) that are causing problems and need to be purged. Have you run Fallrim tools "file cleaner" on the affected savefile? PS> if you haven't already and if you do now run it, and if Fallrim reports a large number of unattached instances and undefined elements, I'd recommend doing a multistage cleaning. It was unable to resave a file (a very old level ten save) I loaded last night after I had cleaned around 250 of the first type (unattached instances) and 350 of the second (undefined elements), but it worked when I batched smaller sections of the errors (clear a hundred or so unattached instances), saved, opened the save, cleaned more, saved, opened that save and so on... anjenthedog
There's a video on the mod page that shows how to use it. It can be a bit daunting at first, but it's easy to use once you get a feel for it. basically, you isolate the questionable entries it that reportsyou purge the unattached instances and undefined elementsyou then re-save the file (or save it to a new filename) What happens is that when a mod is removed, if it wrote any info into the save file while it was active, especially scripted events and references, they're left behind as useless operands/variables/process calls/etc (can also happen even with normal play with otherwise ok mods...junk collects (animations that get cut short, things that were monitored but one way or another got de-linked from the normal code flow, etc) and you need to clean it out once and a while). They *can interfere with normal play. it's not a panacea, and sometimes you're just humped no two ways around it, (or another tool might help resolve an issue, like SSEEdit, or one of the load order tools or whatever)... but it can solve some problems like doing garbage collection. I cant see any unattached/ undefined instances and element. Maybe it is because i develop them in Vortex? I think Resaver do not work for me. Anyway i just tried to run skyrim se without mod using the launcher. It also crashed when i am opening it. I have some information about the mods. When i run FNIS, it says 0_master.hkx is missing. I find a doc call 0_master.hkx.vortexbackup and i just rename and delete .vortexbackup roughly. Is it a reason that cause my game crash? or do i need to reinstall skyrim? anjenthedog
If fallrim didn't report any unattached instances or undefined elements, then on that part, you're good to go (ie that part is ok) If HKX files are missing.... idk. I've never encountered that one.

anjenthedog
I *did read a quip from someone while doing a search last night in passing about how they ran a file validator from Steam on their installation when some files were corrupt and Steam replaced them somehow, so going to Steam and checking to see what they can offer might be an avenue you might want to consider.
