WoogieMonster
I've been googling fallout 3 0xc00000fd and looking at other peoples description of the problem. JAD2008
I think I have discovered something... When I reboot the computer and start the game, I can play at the barren for a long time (30-40 minutes) and after a while, the game crashes and... if I start playing again the game crashes inmidiatly, but if I reboot the computer again and start the game, then I can play for another 30-40 minutes without errors  I don't know why this happen... :wallbash:
WoogieMonster
When you are at the title screen, does your mouse cursor seem "shaky" or "jittery" or not move smoothly? Some people ignore it, but it is a glitch that will crash the game after a few minutes of playing. If this happens while you're at the title screen, alt-tab out of the game and then go back in. Normally alt-tabbing is bad, but it does fix this glitch and make the game more stable.

Yes, sometimes when I see the ''PLEASE STAND BY'' screen, the cursor doesn't respond and then at the title screen for a second or two OK, I'll try it and I'll tell you the result later :thanks:
Guest
Greetings! I'm used to have a similar problem... I installed Fallout 3 and played a little bit, kinda 30 minutes. The screen, sometimes, have some "graphic breaks" when i look some directions. I say to myself "well, just don't look that way!" and it kinda worked. After that, the game closes and shows me an error message, saying that the program has encountered a fatal and it has to be closed. I thought it was nvidia drivers, so i downloaded the new one. Now, the game don't even start; just show me another message telling me this: "Failed to initialize renderer.Your display doesn't support the resolution. Please set a different resolution in Fallout 3's Launcher under Display Settings'." I tried to change every resolution, also tried 640x480! (P.S.: Video here support 1024x768)Already installed old drivers but it doesn't change...can anyone help? i'll appreciate it. ( Apologize me for the creeping english, Brazil here... )

CrazyAce
That's a chat client error, what's running in your background? What's a chat client error? I already tried to play with none background applications (except essential ones) and it still crashing when I enter the barren, so I don't think that's the problem For example: I'm playing normally at Megaton and when I get out to the barren, the game crashes inmidiatly or after a few seconds or minutes... with the ''unknown exception....'' I get the same thing constantly, now just recently in the past 2 or 3 days my game has been crashing like mad, every minute of game play in the wastelands I get crashes, I can't get near Big Town without the game crashing. :wallbash: I'm starting ot think it's a bug caused by a bad hex hack from one of these mods. My most recent mods downloaded that would be causing these crashes around Big Town would be the Uniqueweapons.esp file and G3SilentGun, but for giggles I'll post what ESPs I have. aa12full AmplifiedCrippledEffects011 Clover - Goddess Hairstyle dD-Less Blood Time, Larger Blood G3SilentGun jaynus - Big booms LargelyIncreasedDamage0.21 MorphineRenameMod Repair Mod Smurf_Impact_WpnSkillDmg_75percent vashdeagle Now the game ran fine, sure I had ocasinal crashes and lag, but not like this recently. That might be enough to cool them down. When you actually start playing, heat starts building up slowly over time if the fans aren't cycling efficiently enough leading them to become unstable and crashing for you.
