Difficulty setting not working on followers

I like to play on master difficulty setting, but have 3 followers to balance out fighting...so I don't get 1 shot/hit killed every time. My problem is that I have to shoot 8-10 arrows into a single enemy to kill them, but my followers can hit them 1-2 times with the same weapon and kill them. I have many mods installed so there's no way to figure out if it's one of them, a combination of 2 or more, or none of them that's causing this...but was wondering if anyone else noticed this in their game. More importantly, how to fix it.

I've noticed this just a bit with certain custom follower mods.

I suppose the easiest way to do it would be to get the AV for their combat damage multipliers, and then use the ForceAV to set them more in line with yours.

Or you could try the Balance your own Game mod included with ACE

Somewhere on that Mod page is a link to something that's supposed to apply all the things that mods change about the PC to the NPC's but I'm way too tired to try and pinpoint it.

Hope this helps until someone actually useful comes along.
