You could use WinRAR, but only the trial for 30 days unless you want to pay for it. I recommend using 7zip, you not only can open (almost) all .rar files, but also 7zip files as well as compressing them yourself. On top of that, it's freeware^^. If for whatever reason 7zip cannot open a rar, I use the Extract Frog which is also for free.
