JFSOCC Posted November 16, 2008 Share Posted November 16, 2008 just call it "SniperZZZZZZZ!!!" both a reference joke about snipers always being thought of as the ultimate weapon by geeks on the web, and the ZZZZZZ could indicate it is silenced. oh, and BTW, balance it. I hate to have it be strictly better than the sniper.take the reservist rifle for instance, yes it is better, but it also degrades at surprising speed, and has only got 3 bullets per clip/magazine/whatever. jaysus Posted November 16, 2008 Share Posted November 16, 2008 a silenced fat boy plz... but for real cmon guys... most silencers are so because the owner of the wepaon they are attached to use subsonic bullets... thats ok for a pdw or pistol but not for a rifle... afaik there are only a handfull silenced sniper rifles anyway all of which are quite prone to damage of all kind... the trick of not getting spotted due to the bang as a sniper is to keep distance, stay low and change positions after a shot... this even works ingame just stay out of enemy rangea rifle that is actually capable to deliever a bullet accurately over more than 50yrds well that would be an awesome mod...but ya i basicly agree wih the topic... a silenced smg and a silenced rifle would be fine... just dont make it look to perfect... some duct tape here and there, a pillow or an empty plastic bottle would rock and fit in the lore...
