RYCAS
So what's going on here is: After uninstalling Skyrim from my computer and all related files associated with it, I reinstalled the game and wanted to get the CBBE mod. I downloaded it, installed it through NMM, and when I get into the game my character still has the vanilla body. Yes, I checked using the obvious method of stripping her bare but she was still wearing the vanilla bikini. I quit without saving and went through the process of installing and uninstalling the mod but to no avail, it still shows the character with a bikini. I then made a backup of the game and installed only the slim body option manually but no results. What should I do to get the mod working? To specify which of the body types I'd like in the game, I would like to have the slim body for my character if that helps with explaining things. bootaka
If you're not running a custom race, and even if you were, the only thing I could say is check your install dir and make sure the cbbe files ended up in the correct place. If its not working at all, I don't think its in the right place. by default they should end up in Data\meshes\actors\character\character assets female and Data\textures\Actors\character\female Edited November 1, 2012 by bootaka
RYCAS
Thanks for the reply, you were right about the race thing. I had no idea it conflicted with the mod, but not a big deal -- switched my characters race and working fine now.
bootaka
Since you have the custom race, it has its own body dir, something based on the Oriental Race it would look like Data\meshes\actors\character\Oriental\BodyData\meshes\actors\character\Oriental\OrientalHead Data\textures\actors\character\Oriental\female This would allow your own body and textures to remain separate from the rest of Skyrim. TheGreenLion
Right it doesn't really conflict per-say, you could add those files in to your custom race and have the same body.
