azron
exactly, the rocks impacting the helmets of the armour is similar to what happends when modern football players get hit hard in the head where neck injuries usually occur.remember those rocks were pretty darn big, or were in clusters and Ewoks are very strong, yes a deathclaw could tear a trooper in half if it got close enough.I'd pitty a squad of nearly any type of soldier if a deathclaw got the drop on them. and yes, you can kill a trooper without piercing the armour, though there is the MKVI armour (the armour seen in the movies is the MKV) which apparently has relatively low powered, localized personal shield generators that protects the joints and only the joints (making it surprisingly affordable), the MKVI makes stormtroopers ridiculously powerful. but only exists in a non-canon "Infinities" like story since lucas wouldn't want the stormtroopers becoming too powerful, but the story was never originally intended to make them overpowered, it just happened as more and more applications for the shields became apparent. I honestly don't know how we would implement the MKVI armour though, since nothing short of a mirv would be able to deal practically any damage, and a trooper wearing it could make short work of a deathclaw. killerx243
Not really Deathclaws are like mini rancors and stormtroopers are powerless against them.
azron
*low whistle* They're faster too, but an E-11 could take the Deathclaw out, it's just that yeah, Deathclaws are really fast and strong, and seem to have a knack for getting into hand to hand before you can draw a bead on em, unless you use V.A.T.S. of course. and yeah, if you saw what the MKVI armour can do, but that one would be really hard to mod in, so the MKV armour (the OT stormtrooper armour) would be alot easier. Noobsause
remember those rocks were pretty darn big, or were in clusters and Ewoks are very strong, keep in mind that I'm talking about a 50. i don't care how big the rock is (unless it is bigger than storm trooper  ) also a 50. has more force than any thing thrown by one of those ugly teddy bears
azron
as I said before, the .50 won't "penetrate" as in won't make a hole, but the impacting force can still kill despite not doing much more than chipping the armour.

azron
:verymad: i know what penetrate means!+did i say i needed to penetrate. I think we are reaching a misunderstanding here, it might have been someone else who mentioned the big'ol rocks and such. and I never assumed you didn't know the meaning of penetration, just wanted to be crystal clear since it could be interpreted as kinetic penetration as the shock/force "penetrates" but not the bullet itself. never the less I apologies if it seemed insulting.
