You can try to disable your armor mods one by one, load the game each time and then try to use a workbench; so you will can find the culprit mod.

Thanks, that seems a slow way to go about it. If its a mod causing it, seems to be related to armor bench and armorsmith bench guess I need to work out if I need both because that might be the problem?

A bit faster way: disable half of your armor mods and check a workbench. If game will not crash then problematic mod is in the second half, if it will not - in the current half. Then split the problematic half you have just found in two again and so on.
