SSE The Eye of Melka (editing a staff)

Hello guys

 

I wanted to enhanced the eye of Melka (cause I like Melka and her staff)

 

Soooo...I go to the creation kit

I load the base game data

I look for the staff file...and I think I find it but...everything is grey and I can't do anything :/

 

So Am I missing a step maybe ?

 

Also What I wanted was to give unlimitted charge to the staff, I know where to type the enchantment value but I don't know what to wright there to have it "unlimited"...Or maybe it's not this way to do so ?

 

And I wanted to suppress/shorten the cast time but I really don't know where to look at... o_o

please tell me where to set the cast time

If the stats & effects are all grayed out, it's probably because the staff is using a template. When an item or NPC is using a template, most of the details are grayed out because it's using whatever the template is set to. You have to remove the template option if you want to set your own custom settings.

 

EDIT: The template setting is usually located on the first tab of the item's properties.
