Balakirev Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 I just tried to download a couple of mods with recent versions, including Wrye Bash, only to get a screen stating that the files were hidden, and that I should respect the wishes of the file's creator. On a hunch, I tried downloading my own mod, Skin-toned Mannequins, only to get the same screen. I then tried downloading a few other mods, and had identical results.
62firelight Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 I'm also having the same problem on Fallout 3 Nexus.
bben46 Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 This is a known bug. Keep trying to download. It took me 3 tries on one, but most are working on the second.
Balakirev Posted November 2, 2012 Author Posted November 2, 2012 I wouldn't have posted here if I could download on the second or third try--would have figured things were in transition with some new code or equipment. Just to be sure, a minute ago I attempted to download Wrye Bash again, seven times in a row. Failed each time. And yes, tried again with my own mod, four times. Again, nothing.
nosisab Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 There is some other message stating a cause for the hidden status?
JimboUK Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 I can't download anything at all from the FO3 site, I've tried numerous times and each time I'm told it's hidden. Edit: Managed to get one via one of the non premium servers, I've no idea how many attempts it took.
M48A5 Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 I just tried the Fallout 3 download and had no problem downloading manually. My problem is that each time I access the Fallout 3 site, I have to login again. This seems to be the only site where it does not recognize that I am already logged in on Nexus Forums.
slainia Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 M48A5 - they were having a problem with the log in servers all week. From what Dark0ne said it was mostly restricted to the nexus mod site, effecting both downloads and uploading, but I was finally able to upload my file today. Problem might still be around somewhere, but they've said they're working on it.
slainia Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 (edited) Er. Whyfore double post deer server? o.O Edited November 2, 2012 by slainia
Balakirev Posted November 2, 2012 Author Posted November 2, 2012 I wasn't able to download from the non-premium servers before--getting the same message--but now, at least, the non-premium sites will download. Hopefully the faster, premium ones will be available, soon.
