iMinGrassSize changes not taking effect. PLease help.

Im using Vortex and not MO

When i change the iMinGrassSize in Skyrim.INI it doesnt take effect no matter whether i increase or decrease the value. im trying to get similar density to the Grass Field SE mod page screenshots but the density is less and doesnt change when i edit the ini file, ive even checked if skyrim was reverting the changes but they were staying the same just not seen in game.

solved!!

 

very bizarre, but a mod .ini file was being used by sse for settings

oddly enough, it had the settings that were supposed to be inside skyrim.ini and imingrasssize was set to 54!
