Dabien Posted November 13, 2008 Share Posted November 13, 2008 I'm wondering if it'd be possible for someone to make heat detection goggles (possibly an edit of the biker goggles), similar to the Detect Life spell in Oblivion without the CS? Alasyre Posted January 5, 2009 Share Posted January 5, 2009 I was seconds away from posting the same request. I looked into it, but I suck at modding, sooo.... The detect life mechanic is still present in the GECK, just not in the same way that chameleon is still present, so you can'[t just plop it onto an item, like what was done with the Stealth Boy. LifeDetected is listed as an effect shader. The settings don't match those in Oblivion, but you can just copy the settings from Oblivion, though some of the ones in the GECK aren't in the TESCS. If someone could get that to work, all you'd need is a red-tinted (or blue-tinted, whatever) ImageSpace overlay (like the night-vision mod effects, but suited for infrared vision) to make it look legit.
