Adding conditions on objects effects.

Hi, im new to moding, but i was wondering can we add conditions on objects effects like has.perk, so a perk in teory would allow the object effect to ocur. Like add to a weapon damge health , but with the condition that the player has X perk, tried to fnedit and didnt seem to work, tnks in advance.

"Perks are abilities received by players as they gain levels and play through the game."

 

"An object effect can be placed on a weapon or piece of armor. Similar to enchantments in the Elder Scrolls IV Construction Set." There is also a note: "Weapon effects attached to a weapon only trigger if the weapon deals at least 1 point of damage before perks are taken into account."

 

What you describe would be to have the "Base Effect" produced by a weapon determined by the presence of a specific perk on the character. Your "Base Effect" would probably need to run a script to handle the perk, which is not something you can just add in FNVEdit. You need to build it in the GECK. If you can't place a condition on an object effect (can't recall and didn't dig for it), you can certainly handle one in a script.
