murpocalypse
For Me FO3 Has Always Been A Boyhood Fantasy... but as I age it comes to my attention how much I could have accomplished had I known then... WHAT I KNOW NOW!!! Therefore, I propose a Mod, which will allow a PC to "quantum leap" to an earlier save with all gear, perks, etc. I got the idea from Icewind Dale ?glitch? Which allowed to restart w/all equipage. Actually it was export character. AHEM.anyway, that's the idea... travel to an earlier save with all of Your s%*t ! I know little of the tech involved in such a mod, but I am going to try to build it anyway. If Anybody Has Any Ideas, or is just interested I Welcome Input. tesfallout
from what I know about the way variables are stored in FO3, I would say that this is not going to be possible with basic scripting. Variables are saved inside of each specific savegame, so the only way I can think that you might have any hope of making this work is if you can find a way to export your itemlists, skillsets, etc... to an outside file and then have the game pull from that at a later time. Unfortunately I have never heard of any way to even begin to attempt this, so the rest is up to you.
a1stickleback
I think tesfallout is right. It would be possible to follow a similar script as say........when you get taken to Raven Rock and get all you stuff taken from you and put into a container.I had a look and good explore in the GECK too, and I can't see an easy way to do it by basic scripting. A quest could do it I suppose, maybe where you had to earn your stuff back, including perks Hope that might help, its an intresting idea
