Most of these are canonically virtual locations, and who wouldn't want to build in a virtual apartment where you can see the Golden Gate Bridge? Maybe after you reach each of the things in the story a holotape can be found nearby that includes the new location.Pre-War Sanctuary tape could be on the far side of the Cryo room you don't use yourself.
