jesterskull25
to help loading, I remember Fallout 3 downtown was split into districts...... Why has not anyone tried that for Fallout 4 Downtown? (Since Crashing there is pretty common) It could prevent a lot of headaches and I don't think some of us would care about the extra loading screens.... (I actually got a mod that lets me enjoy them) Edited December 10, 2019 by jesterskull25
Warren1317
well that mean editing a lot of FO4 Commonwealth cell + maybe screw a lot of mod that edit the era + screw the cell that are connected to it + change the visual aspect of the region when you're up on building so I'm not sure it is possible but maybe you mean editing the whole Boston island? Well not every part, maybe just focus on just few sections that causes the most problems that can be managed..... Just trying to think of a way to lessen lag while walking or running though the city.... Seriously.....I have literally tried a 1000 things at this point. The City needs to be redone... (Sorry, Currently Having trouble getting Sim Settlements to run on my Xbox currently.....so I am will accept burying the city itself if we have to.....) markusm1000
Well not every part, You have to change a lot of the game because FO3 has a completely different design. In FO3 you have the separate, independent parts of the city that are connected by the subway lines. In FO4 you have an open world where you can go anywhere and do anything, especially shoot anywhere. In addition, FO4 has a much higher level of detail, so that the districts would become very small in order to get the same computation time and storage space as FO3.You could no longer walk from one end of the map to the other, but would have a loadscreen after each block.
