MrMaestrodeluxe
so I got myself a lifetime subscription, having thorougly enjoyed the nexus network for Oblivion, New Vegas and now Skyrim, I felt this was something I should do. But ever since I did this I am having all sorts of problems, perhaps it's unfortunate coincidence with updates or whatnot, but it's the only cause I can think of. 1) NMM login, I read that others are having problems with this as well, but I have to log in every time I start it up, this wasn't the case before my upgrade.2)NMM downloads, for one they are often aborted halfway through with some error. Other times I get a server busy/unavailable message. And when it does pull through, it goes at speeds of about 4KB. Manual downloading of the same file goes at many MB's per sec, often it's done before it can actually give me a download speed number.3) Website trouble, for some reason if i remain on a page without refreshing for 30 seconds, it forgets I'm logged in. Resulting in me getting a 'not logged in' error whenever I would like to post a comment longer than 10 sentences. I can live with number 3, but the other two, especially 2, are anoying. Not regretting my donation though, still fully support this network!
slainia
Unfortunate coincidence. they've been having trouble all week with things. Up till this morning I actually couldn't upload my mod b/c of getting logged out. I'd try and be patient for a day or two, see if anything improves and try the various workarounds while you're waiting. From what i've read, the log out issue - for the websites at least - is a 10 min timer thing. For that at least ( if it becomes an issue) you can refresh between the 10 min intervals to keep logged in. I'm not sure if it actually has anything to do wtih the nastyness of Sandy or not, but l've seen some improvement today in issues i personally was experiencing.Good luck, tho. ;)
njordian
I been having almost the same set of problems since buying the lifetime membership. But like you I do not regret since this site has helped me gain almost 700 hours of enjoyment in Skyrim alone!
MrMaestrodeluxe
Hah, alright then.Well, this wasn't a post on 'fix it nao', I can wait it out. The logout timer must be new then, because it wasn't until this week that I started getting this message rather frequently.Admittedly, I can sometimes be a slow writer because English isn't my primary language and sometimes I just don't know which words to choose....there are just so many! Anywho, I now know I'm not alone and that it's not my 'upgrade' that causes it. so thanks for that!
slainia
Np. And l know it wasn't, don't worry. was meant more as an...all-purpose post if that makes sense. And yeah as far as I know it is a new issue, though I admittedly haven't been paying much attention pre-logon/off issue. Lol.
