Eager (noobie) Witcher, Can't Run Nearly Any Mod

I am new to witcher3, and all witcher games, but playing a bit of vanilla made me want to mod, seeing the mods I've stopped playing and am focusing on the mods.

Version is STEAM and 1.32 by default as well as the included steam store mods ("including blood and wine", and "hearts of stone").

after this I am attempting to install only a single mod at a time, removing it before attempting to install, activate and run another. I certainly intend to run multiple mods, however for trouble shooting (to make the information I provide more meaningful) and I only installing a single mod at a time right now, currently have the 1.31 version active (as described above) and then each mod is facilitated through NMM after I manual DL and add the mod to NMM from my drive.

I install the game, I use the "backpatch" (https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/3374 I followed the manual install techniques as advised) to revert to version 1.31

this appears to be successful as I can run the game and version 1.31 is indicated

Weather or not I do this step (including full uninstall and reinstall as well as the much faster integrity verification), I get errors on nearly any mod I wish to run:

- W3EE (Witcher 3 Enhanced Edition)

NMM simply states: W3EE 4.75-3522-4-75-1574614886 // A problem occurred during install:

Index and count must refer to a location within the string.
Parameter name: count
The mod was not installed. // Install //

**This is a common message for me with various mods right now

- Alternate Axii (Axii Puppet) and Torch Interact Fix // A problem occurred during install:
Index and count must refer to a location within the string.
Parameter name: count
The mod was not installed. // Install //

- Jump in Shallow Water

NMM installs (attempts to run) and then reports script compilation errors reported as:

"Error [content0]engine\telemetrykeyword.ws(8): Class 'CR4TelemetryScriptProxy' was already exported."

- Skellige Ice Breath // A problem occurred during install:
This mod does not have the correct file structure for a The Witcher 3 mod that NMM can use. It will not work with NMM.
The mod was not installed. // Install //

MODS THAT APPEAR TO RUN WITHOUT ERROR:

- No dirty Lens Effect

- Realistic Weather

- Nitpicker's Patch

- The Gwent Card Dealer

That's it for now, I've tried some others and am currently on a fresh install consisting of what I have listed and nothing more. I'm running a new game for now. I am currently running no dirty

Hello!

From my experience, installing mods for The Witcher 3 can be trickier, if compared to other popular moded games like Skyrim or Fallout 4.

If you install some mods (doesn't have to be many) that are scripted, you will need to run the script merger, and other tools as well for textures and so one.

Since you are new to this, as you said, I suggest you to follow a mod guide (I use this one: https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/2662, but there are others around). In this particular guide I would not install "Ghost Mod" as I think it makes the game harder than I'd like, but it's just a suggestion. Oh, and with this guide you install the mods manually instead of the mod manager, bbut most of the mods are fairly easy to install this way.

Hope it helps!
