mrpyromania
I need to get some money for my PMB and I'm trying to enchant Grand Soul Gems with Golden saints. Now my question is,can you buy Grand soul Gems from merchants? If so,where?
cmac
AFAIR, no. I know that Grand Soul gems are found in Smuggler and Bandit loot, and that you recieve one for killing the Telvanni Enchanter's rats.
Maquissar
There are, I think, several mods that add merchants in Vvardenfell who sellall kinds of gems. It can be considered cheating though... but if you want them, just search the main morrowind sites. Here are a few names you might want to check: SoulGem Seller by SandemanSoul Gem Seller Schastar by Thierry SANCHEZSoul Gem Vendor by Mike1001101 (only sells gems up to Greater, though) I'm sure you can find more. Good luck.
mcstreet
you can by evey one accept for the gran soul gems, the only one you can by is from the mage on the top floor of the mages guild in balamora but even that one contains a winged twighlight.so yes technically you can buy one full one but the empty ones you cannot.like the others say tho you find them as random loot in cavens and caves but even then you have to have a reasonably high level before they start to appear. Evien
There is a kind of loop hole. Go to the Shrine of Azura (It's on your map, southwest corner, Azura's coast) and talk to the statue. Check your journal and find that it says that Azura tells you to go to an island near Dagon Fel. Kill all the Deadra and take the ring from the golden saint. Go back to Azura and get the Azuar's Star. A Grand Soul Gem, except after you use it for enchanting, it is just empty, not gone, you can use it as much as you want. ;) >E
Marxist ßastard
...Which is great -- unless, of course, he wanted to sell the souls... Heh... Now where would I get a silly idea like that... ...Yerp, Evien, it's nice to see you haven't changed one bit. You couldn't have expressed your n00btardness more clearly if that post was in all-caps. Now then... Answering your question... Finally... Since this is the PMB-e we're talking about, I assume you've got Tribunal. Look for the enchanter in the Craftsmens' hall in Mournhold. He will have five Grand Soul Gems that will respawn immediately after they are completely sold.
Kethruch
Why are you looking to get money that way? If you are strong enough to be able to load the soul gems like that, you shouldn't have any money worries? The GSG are hard enough to find without using them to generate cash. MDH Weaponeer
You have Tribunal?... Well then go give Elbert Nermac in New Mournhold a nice little visit. He has unlimited grand, greater and common soulgems and I found him useful (especially with my Summon Golden Saint spell). Oh - and if you CAN summon dremoras yet (which by your post, I'm assuming you can't, or can but don't have much spellchance) and if you have a Bound Battle axe or a Daedric one, then summon the Dremora, whack him twice (which will kill him) then before he lands on the ground, press space on him, and you can take his weapon. They often have weapons worth up to 120,000 gold. Nice little way to make quick cash.
Malchik
Unless you are a very low level character you'll find several in most smugglers caves. I always end up with far too many. Go out and explore - it's what the game's all about!
Evien
How was that n00btardness? I was just trying to help since m asked. Killing Deadra is a much easier way to make cash. Or you could raid Tel Fyr.
