Quick Tips for you Newbies...

First of all...

Assassination/Defense/Warzone contracts are easier and more profitable than Raid/Demolition since in assassination the targets ends up in more tonned mechs leaving pesky annoyances behind, and in Defense/Warzone often times you get ally mechs...

And in Raid/Demoliton you have to destroy the sites that means more enemies...

And I have not tested this but I think if you run out of the prior 3 kind of contracts you can refit your mechs and waste time so the 90 day pay cycle will go regening contracts... <-- This I have not tested but will get to soon...

And of course you do not have to goto your reputation conflict zones and get your butts handed to you, instead hang around lower conflict zone and do missions there and get the C-Bills and salvages of mechs and weapons and equipments...

I am now reputation 8/Professional and am hanging in the 5 and 6 reputation conflict zones going here then there doing prior mentioned 3 contracts types...

But anyhow the main spotlight of this post is if you refit mechs and waste 90 days, will the contracts regen...

Well, there it is...

My few pointers of know how...

Enjoy this excellent/so far the best simulation game ever~ and happy hunting, peeps~!:)

Not as much as I hoped...

Refitting and wasting a 90 day cycle, even another one, did not regen contracts...

so what you need to do is have mechs in deployment tonnage of 2 - 3 conflict zones and go around doing Assassination/Defense/Warzone contracts...

Sorry for getting your hopes up thinking that 90 days will regen contracts...

happy hunting~!

That is no regen in the current conflict zone but when you goto another conflict zone and come back, contracts do regen so it just might be not the same conflict zone...

and at my level of 8 reputation, 7/8 reputation sites allow deployed tonnage of 230 where I would get my butts whooped and cost me an arm and a leg repairing mechs so I am going to conflict zone reputation level 5/6 for now making C-Bills...

Well well well...

I experimented a few...

And found out that going to higher reputation zone always isn't a bad idea...

But still what you need are deployed tonnage sets and go around conflict zones doing Assassination/Defense/Warzone...

Enjoy~!

Joon,

Keep up the tips! There's at least one person reading what you have to say lol. Noticing some similarities as well.

Yeah...

And about industrial hubs...

Pilots/Mechs/Weapons/Equipments spawn upon arrival basis so if you do not get what you would like, you could save and load and try your luck another load...

Hope my tips help a few...

Enjoy~!

  • 2 weeks later...

I don't think Raid/Demolition are harder. In fact single city crushing is simple and fast!

use 4 fast mechs (speed > 100), charge to the city and use your head to bump into buildings, tanks and turrets.

your teammates shoot helicopters by small lasers.

after destruction, charge to the dropship to go home.

Done!
