nekoza
Spoilers for Oblivion DLC Shivering Isles, and I guess one quest in Skyrim. I've been playing Oblivion recently, namely the Shivering Isles. In the end Sheogorath is now Jyggalag, and you are the new Sheogorath. So why is he back in Skyrim? Can someone make a lore-friendly mod about this? Whatever the story is is up to you, as long as its lore-friendly. I'm hoping for a quest about it, but whatever you do is up to you. A lesson in lore (for those who haven't played Shivering Isles) and/or something to get the creative juices flowing: Jyggalag was a powerful Daedric Prince, and the other Daedric Princes became fearful or jealous, so they cursed Jyggalag to be Sheogorath. When he returned it makes sense that they would curse him to the same fate. OR Sheogorath's Champion, who became Sheogorath could have actually become a Daedric prince, and literally became Sheogorath. If you think of something else thats great, I like surprises. Or if you want, it could be an Oblivion mod for Shivering Isles. Doesn't matter to me. If this has already been explained in lore feel free to let me know, I really would like to know. And if it has I still request a mod about it.

Hence a lot of his dialogue involving having witnessed/been there for the events that happened in the game. In example, he mentioned a severed head. This was a reference to the Dark Brotherhood questline; the only person who saw that head was the Hero of Kvatch. He also states that Sheogorath is a title passed down from "me, to me". He's the same character as you play in Oblivion, but having taken the name, personality, voice, and essentially entire appearance of Sheogorath. This could either be permanent, or it could have just been how he chose to show up to us.Jyggalag being absent was likely either an oversight, or a lack of good quest ideas involving him; and a lack of him having a Daedric Artifact, as far as I'm aware. dragonchris152
Yeah your character is sherogorath now. Your characters pretty much fused with sherogorath now and they're indistinguishable from one another. As for jyggalag, Beth seems to have just ignored him for the time being. I suppose he's looking for a new realm or some such thing. I really think they should have given him a quest and have been disappointed he hasn't had one.
