Non-combat turning around

I kinda' miss how in Oblivion, when you looked into another direction you would automatically turn to face it. May seem like a small thing, but to me it aided immersion greatly. I wonder if it would seem unreasonable to request such a thing from you kind modders? I myself haven't got a clue if this is something easy or difficult at all...

It's hard to describe with terms and there may already be a mod like this- I haven't found it due to the former problem- but I thought I'd ask regardless.

E: After some research, the thing I'm looking for is best described as an "idle turning" animation. But sans weapons (as we saw it in Oblivion and Morrowind). I have tried to find one through the Nexus, Steam, or just Googling it only to yield no results whatsoever.

E²: On closer inspection, NPCs in the game have these idle non-combat turning animations, but for the life of me I don't know what the resource file is called, or how to implement it for the PC based on PoV.

As far as I know, when the player turns while in first-person, the body turns. When weapon is drawn, the body makes it more realistic. if you have a "true POV" modification on, turning causes the body to turn much like Oblivion did (although a bit glitchy since turning is done so fast now.) But I do support this.

I have no idea why they didn't stick with it. I bet it was just something lost in porting the game to PC.

Elder scrolls games are made for the PC, and then ported to consoles. New features show up in the console version, because controllers make for an overall more 'fluid' visual control, and it is easy to make the camera work for them. For the PC, the camera is tricky.

I believe there is a 'camera overhaul' mod out there, trying searching for cam/camera, you may find it. I personally find skyrims camera a little bland and annoying, I miss being able to turn my camera round and look at my character running at me while I was moving.

With the state of textures they released it in (I don't even think it's fixed nowadays), the whole menu layout (which is very impractical and unresponsive to mouse navigation), and the controls being very gamepad-oriented, they did a great job at making it feel like a console port.

Not to say that it's a reason to hate or bear bad merit towards the game, but let's not conceal what it is now. I am simply looking for a correction to one remainder of those gamepad controls.

E: This also isn't really an issue native to the controls, I'm talking about the player character itself, in third person view. As it stands the keys used for turning and strafing turn the camera when not moving (and not holding weapons out) rather than the whole character. Then if you move backwards or forward, you instantly clip in said direction.
