Xaranth Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 Two questions about the GECK: 1) Is there some setting I can change somewhere that will change the default selections in the Data... dialog? My wrist is getting sore from deselecting all the DLC every time I want to load my mod. 2) Is there a way to use the havok simulator to run an explosion in an area? The premise is that a small battle in an enclosed area ended when one of the combatants unwisely fired a Fat Man. An I put everything in place and then use the havok sim to 'play' the explosion and its resultant effects on items and bodies and whatnot within the GECK, or do I have to imagine it and place these things appropriately? And a game question: 3) How do I start a 'vanilla' character? I launched the game and unchecked all the data files save FalloutNV, but when I started a new char, Steam or something overrode my choice and instead of a vanilla character I had a DLC character. -X

Quetzlsacatanango Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 1- delete the .nam files2- no simulation in geck, to my knowledge. you must use your imagination3- delete the .nam files. If you use texture/mesh replacers, you will still have them unless you disable archive validation.
