ElementUK Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 Getting very fed-up pressing the escape key every time just to speed things up. Their nice and all but a few times is enough. All Laser weaponry changed to NO reload required. No AI cheat on Classic or Impossible (AND be able to stay Online with Steam). As soon as possible, the storyline gone. More Alien bases and that would make it a perfect game for me.

Their nice and all but a few times is enough.Remove all of the files from the Movies folder except for ShieldLogo.bik:\XCom-Enemy-Unknown\XComGame\Movies I'd suggest moving them to a different folder so you can put them back, rather than deleting them incase Steam decides it wants to download 8.75GB again. Saves a lot of wasted disk space on your SSD if you have one too :)
ElementUK Posted November 8, 2012 Author Posted November 8, 2012 Tried it. Put all files into another folder and so far have moved it's location twice to no effect. It seems as though it does not matter where the movies are currently. Still trying.

If it's tactical in-game sequence which isn't pre-rendered, then I'm not aware of a solution at the moment. Moving the .bik files out of the movies folder will obviously just stop those movies from playing :)
ElementUK Posted March 27, 2013 Author Posted March 27, 2013 It's the 'Cut- Scenes' that need nerfing as well imo. There should be an in-game option to switch off all these excesses that get incredibly repetitive.
