Pipann
Hi everyone, my name's Pipann and I just bought No Man's Sky on sale yesterday. I like the game quite a lot so far; I got placed on a frozen planet (Not sure if lucky or if it's because of the holidays). I'm interested in attempting to mod my game, more specifically, to replace my current player model with one of my own spacefaring characters. It would use the same humanoid bone rig with maybe some extra's for jiggle physics, a scarf, if possible. (I have yet to start modeling said character) First I want to know if this is something that's possible to do. Although I have lots of experience in modeling, texturing and skinning, I don't in modding. I've dabbled a bit in Source Filmmaker, if that counts, but I doubt this is anything similar. If yes to my question, can anybody guide me a bit on how it's done? :smile:Happy Holidays! Spiritz666
Never tried to mess with any models within the game myself but the NMS modding wiki may give some insight https://nmsmodding.fandom.com/wiki/No_Man%27s_Sky_Modding_Wiki
