SuYu55
so this sounds appeared out of nowhere. and it is unsettling (for me). after doing some digging, i found a temporary fix for this though. i used sexchange console command and it disappears for a few minutes, then reappear. i read that solutions here: https://steamcommuni...08292191256047/ here's the link to video of the problem (listen closely guys): https://www.youtube....h?v=POsG-5Fpqas it seems like it categorized as a sound effects, when i lower the effects sound bar at the audio settings, the sounds disappear. idk if it was intended or it was from a mod and idk if it was a bug or a feature. that breathing sounds give me anxiety, i feel unsafe every i hear that breathing. anyone knows what causing this to happen? and how to get rid of it completely? any help would be appreciated. thanks. anjenthedog
There's at least one "adult" mod that produces those effects by design, and afaik, the effect(s) - heartbeat and heavy breathing are two separate effects - are enabled by default but can be turned off in MCM. Do you happen to have any adult mods installed? If so, I'd check the MCM and scroll down. If not, I have no idea where it's coming from.
onart
"Dripping when aroused"is that mod, I kicked it out on the spot. I think you could switch off the audio effects but it also caused a blur around your field of view that is plain annoying and could not be switched off. I think I see that blur in the video too.... dunno what the vreator was thinking.
anjenthedog
"Dripping when aroused"is that mod, I kicked it out on the spot. I think you could switch off the audio effects but it also caused a blur around your field of view that is plain annoying and could not be switched off. I think I see that blur in the video too.... dunno what the vreator was thinking.the mod: yes, that one. I think the radial blur is meant to represent a certain tunnel vision that often accompanies arousal. (ie, in real life). Maybe not visually accurate, but figuratively dead-on in my ~45-50 years of personal experience in relationships. SO maybe the author intended to visualize that mental state. "lust vision" if you will. When you say "I kicked it out on the spot" I'm not sure if you mean you've solved the issue or whether the effects are there but you already removed the mod. If the former, yay!. If the latter...well that sux and good luck. I have no idea what else might cause that. The only other time I hear heartbeat is when I'm on the verge of death due to loss of health or when I'm using a health regen spell on a companion/follower for an extended time. So... Maybe the low health effect got stuck "on", like how you can accidentally get an atronach flame trail or draugur eyes etc under certain conditions. (all of which are bugs, but remediable using console commands... you'll need to search for that. I don't recall what you need to do to remove those glitches, but I *have had to remove both drahgur eyes and atronach flame trails.) NVM on the personal banter. I failed to check to see if you were the OP...you're not. So my 'personalized' followup is kinda pointless. I'm pretty sure you and I are on the same page. However... hopefully OP is reading this... PPS> and for the record,AFAIK the game also utilizes radial blur by default to give a sense of depth, fwiw...
anjenthedog
In case you haven't solved this, I stumbled onto another possibility. It's possible you might have gotten "locked" to the heavy breathing associated with sprinting, like sometimes you can get stuck in a crouch or whatever (my other examples above)... See https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/24205 ^^ that's what gave me the idea. (However, I'm not suggesting that it offers a solution beyond something pretty draconian. if you did get glitched into the heavy breathing sound, a console fix would be the best.)
