Getting lots of random CTD's on new and old installations

Hey guys, hope that someone have the time to help me figure out my papyrus logs and hopefully stop all my CTD's.

 

So, first of all I've been using the SIS - Skyrim Installation Swapper for 'bout a week now to make it easier to swap between my installs, currently have three profiles:

 

"Original" profile: first install of Skyrim. Been using this since I first started playing; Currently having a lot of MannequinActivatorScript loops, relating to the Is3DLoaded(), sniffed around the Vanilla Mannequin Script Fix thread to no avail. (Don't have any logs right now but can get it if anyone would help try to fix it)

 

"SkyRe" profile: After getting all those mannequin errors on my original I wanted to try out T3nd0s Skyrim Redone, so I made a new installation and startet using SIS.

 

"Drow" profile: New, fresh install I made yesterday, modded it around Zazemel's Drow Race - BETA.

 

 

Now for the technical stuff:

 

Skyrim 1.8.151.0

SKSE 1.6.4

 

No ENB's or Injectors.

 

Attaching Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini just in case.

 

 

So started playing on my new and fresh "Drow" profile today and crashed after 15mins.

Couldn't figure out why it crashed so started skyrim up again and played for about 30mins, then crashed again...

Thinking it had something to do with default2StateActivator, since thats the "last" entry and I couldn't find anything else that could cause it, but found nothing, no surprise really since I've only recently started staring at these logs...

 

Seems like it crashed after freezing / thawing the VM, but what exactly would cause it ?

It would look like the iHUD caused the crash but I'm not sure. I'm using the SkyUIv3 as Gopher has advised since that should fix the current problems with iHUD.

So, as it looks now I can play on any of my profiles without experiencing a CTD, anywhere between a couple of seconds and about an hour. If anyone can help me figure out what is wrong I'll be eternally grateful, because this is starting to drive me insane with all these crashes and no specific solutions, or hints from the log, as far as I can see.

I think it is the 1.8 patch unfortunately. Get random CTDs even on a clean new game with no mods. So much for the "stability fixes".

 

If it's the new patch that really sucks, guess I'll just have to back my stuff up and re-install and only patch to 1.7 or 1.6, if it will let me do that...

 

If anyone else knows something Id be glad to hear it.

 

 

Oh and btw. if I back up my saves from 1.8 and load them in a game that's patched to 1.7, would they still work normally or would it cause bugs of some sort ?
