Controlspire
http://images.onset.freedom.com/ocregister/article/lfynrc-lfynqxwinterweathercobou101.jpgWe have a wealth of rich immersion mods; frost that appears on your character in cold weather, clipping for rain and snow, clanking armor sounds, and so forth. It surprises me however we only have one breathing idle, I can find on TES Nexus Skyrim, and it was made by Fore (link: Fore's Breathing Idle ). Check out Fore's Idle Animation for Breathing if you've never seen it, it is very nice! I thought to myself it would be amazing if we had spell-like effects for breathing, meaning small clouds of steam that come from your character's face/mouth while it is snowing or raining. Then I thought on a similar note, why not expand this to include air bubble while you are under water?http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4057/4663303971_60248d5223.jpgI could see a mod like that getting attention, my computer at this time flat out refuses to run the Creation Kit for me (I am a Steam Member, it just randomly crashes - I have a low end computer so I've given up trying with it), so I can't offer much assistance to anyone working on something like this already, or wanting to champion it themselves (feel free). I would like to hear responses and see if this is something of interest. I can imagine riding along with my horse in the snow and steam coming from the horse and the character's mouths as they ride. The visual in my head sticks with me. As for there being no bubbles or signs of air underwater? Not sure why that is, I figure if the animation is tied to being under water for characters alone it would be a good fix, the lack of underwater effects for the character are interesting though, I suppose because you can't attack (easily) underwater and there are limited foes (slaughterfish, mudcrab, etc.) for you to fight underwater, it was never really pursued by Bethesda. Thanks for checking out this post, and please feel free to leave comments, don't forget to check out the poll I added here, and please weigh in with your own thoughts on this! Edited November 8, 2012 by Controlspire
