mechatech
I downloaded a mod from a member and wanted to ask a question by PM. I checked his forum member page and discovered he was banned. I then did a search to see what the ban was about and found he was banned on August 2010 (the date the mod made the ban post). But his last active date on his member page is July 2011. How could he visit after he was banned?
JanusForbeare
Bans can be repealed under certain circumstances. It sounds like he was banned, made a successful appeal, and then was banned again at a later date. However, I wouldn't expect his mods to still be available in that situation. Which mod are you talking about?
DrakeTheDragon
I witnessed banned members reacting to their ban in the very comments they broke the rules in to begin with lately. But I guess that's because of the "stay logged in" functionality of the login code. Maybe the presence of the cookie allows returning to the site, as if still logged in, even after the account was banned and only the next login, after the cookie expired, will fail? Maybe it's something along that line. But I think the timespan is a little too huge in the case reported. It's more likely to be like Janus analyzed.
