Dreamster91
Hey guys I think this is a bit of a long shot but here we go.... I'm working on some new mods and updating some of my own and something I've always wanted to do is make a cart mod, similar to dragonkillers and gypsy eyes. They're both fabulous mods but just as a personal thing I want something with purely just the cart with storage and space for a passanger. I've looked through the game files and the files of afew mods for the past hour or so in the creation kit and I'm stuggling to find what file actually makes the cart go, I think if I can figure that out I can muddle my way through from there. Anyone have any ideas? Or know a post somewhere I can refer too? Much appreciated :) Have a great new year!
thumbincubation
This isn't my strong point, but I had been under the impression the moving carriage portions of the vanilla game were scripted events, and that the carriage wasn't really meant to move in-game. I'm not sure how some of the carriage mods have made theirs work, but I remember seeing a hand-pulled cart with a chest in it, that seemed like it was made as a piece of armor that you would equip or drop, as need be. If I was going to try to do this, I might look at horse saddles, and see if I could create a way for the horse's saddle to become an entire carriage. From there, if you go to Chesko's (Campfire, Frostfall, etc.) page, you will find a link to his website, where he has tutorials to use the Campfire framework to make portable storage. They're not hard to follow, and I have managed to make carryable storage containers with almost zero skill, by following them. Hope it helps, and sorry I don't have better ideas. This is just some guessing and spitballing, by a very low level modder.

If I remember right though the wheels don't actually spin, so maybe there's something somewhere in the vanilla game to make that happen.... Thank you for your input, it's given me something to think about :)
