Mackthekid16
ok, so heres my dillema: i installed FNIS so that it shows up as a tool in vortex. i have no idea what im supposed to do to install the creature pack. any help or ideaswould be appreciated.heres a couple ideas:drag and drop the creature pack files (individual or the whole directory) into fnis or skyrimuse vortex Edited January 2, 2020 by Mackthekid16
anjenthedog
In my opinion? Use Vortex. Afaik, when I installed the creature pack, I had downloaded the mod and archived it locally. To install using Vortex I used "install from file" and then browsed to the folder where I'd archived it on my hard drive. But if the file(s) is/are hosted by Nexus, you *should be able to just install via the Nexus interface. I don't recall if that's a one file install or whether you have to use the files tab and then pick and choose which parts to install or which K-resolution or what not, but the principle is the same. Follow whatever instruction the mod offers for installation order (if necessary)

I had tried the vortex install method, before the install, my character was doing idle animations, afterwards my chracters is sometimes skyrim version of T-posing or vanilla idle animations (doing nothing). so the next method I tried was copying the files to the main FNIS directory. Now the .exe is identifying the creature pack, but character is permanently T-posed. gonna try to download and reinstall that method as im getting an "current creature pack is incompatible with current FNIS version" or something of that sort. anjenthedog
Are you sure you installed the SE compatible version? (i've screwed up several times along the way by accidentally installing LE versions of things)
