Unselectable Objects

I have prowled the internet, and can't solve this problem. I can't click on a box in the creation kit. An open cardboard box. It is framed in red, blue, and green lines. The same thing happened to a lamp too, and now they both are unselectable and in that colored frame. What is happening?

There's probably an invisible object hindering you.

 

 

Option 1:

Most times it's a mist or dust object. Right click on the object -> Select Layers -> Hide Selected Layers

 

Option 2:

It's a marker box. In this case go to View/Markers and click on it
