A super simple request that might be impossible?

Hi! Ok, so I apologize if this is a known impossibility. I've used the best of my google-fu time and time again on the subject, but come up with nothing.

 

The junk-jet. I would like to use it. But, it seems like the ammo never despawns. I end up with countless fired-junks littering the world, and it really bloats the save file size.

 

Is there a way to simply make the ammo despawn?

I've also tried auto-loot mods, hoping that it would recognize the fired-junk and loot it after firing. But not a single one has worked, so it seems like firing junk through the junk-jet must change it's item ID somehow. I'm only guessing of course.

I've also got a mod that makes my game cells refresh after only a day in-game. And still the junks don't despawn, even when everything else in the cell has respawned.
