Elrimelf
Would it be to much trouble, for one of the modders ou there, to add some different wing options? I liked Hearthfire, but when I saw the Kitchen, the Library and the Armory at the same side of the schematics, I lost the will to build the house. Seriously, the 3 best options on the same side? If I could I would only build those wings. So... would it be possible to ctrl+c, ctrl+v the options on all the sides? Or "no way, you are stuck with Bethesda's shitty design choice"? Aelthwyn
I know this is a year old thread but I'm going to respond anyways because this is exactly what I've been searching for and I just can't believe there aren't any mods that do this. I did a search for hearthfire here on the nexus and looked through every single mod that came up, and there was nothing. Seriously?!? It seems like the number one most obvious mod that anyone would want with hearthfire. It totally sucks to have to choose between a library and a kitchen for instance. I suppose one would have to rotate the layouts to correspond with the orientation of the various biuldings, but that couldn't be that hard. If I knew anything about modding I would be making this right now! It NEEDS to be done!!!!! In the mean time a more time-consuming solution is the Placeable Statics mod by Iceburg: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25068/? - you could build the basic home without adding the furniture and then add items to whichever room you want, you just have to go through the painstaking process of getting and placing the items (assuming that mod is compatible with hearthfire, I haven't actually tested this idea yet because I've been holding out for a mod that fixes this issue properly).
