Character skipped animations?

When walking forwards, if I press left or right my character won't have a smooth turn, the body will simply teleport to the -30 degree position, meaning if I press forwards, left, and right very rapidly my character will seem to be glitching out because of the rapid turning.

When I walk backwards, say walking backwards to the left and I walk backwards to the right, my character will first insta-orientate itself in a normal backwards waking position for a jiffy, then will skip to the walking backwards to the right animation.

 

I have tried uninstalling all mods, and they don't seem to make a difference. Am I missing files?

This only happens when walking.
