Can we have a choice of download servers even for small files?

With the default download servers often being overloaded, there occurs a silly situation when large files (100MB+) can be easily downloaded (from closest servers), but smaller ones - that give no choice of servers - repeatedly time out because Nexus redirects to the servers on the other side of the globe.

 

It would be much easier if we could choose a server for any file. Or perhaps, when a server is auto-chosen it would pick the nearest one among the less overloaded, based on the user's time zone set in their preferences.
