Babkatt Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 After installing some mods for Skyrim (regular not VR or SE), I click on the plugins tab to manage the mods with multiple plugins. The tab just shows a loading icon in the middle and never ends. The plugins never load. I've reinstalled vortex and mods. Still doing it. What could cause this?

Babkatt Posted January 7, 2020 Author Posted January 7, 2020 It loaded like 30 minutes later. I think it's an issue with my connection to GitHub. It loads like 10% of the time. I keep getting errors about inability to update master list and stuff. Idk what the issue with GitHub is. It's the only site I have with this issue.
Community Manager Pickysaurus Posted January 7, 2020 Community Manager Posted January 7, 2020 I've noticed if it takes a long time to get the LOOT data from Github that will slow down the load of the plugins page. That is probably the cause.
Babkatt Posted January 7, 2020 Author Posted January 7, 2020 I have HughesNet and they said due to how GitHub operates, I'm probably going to have a poor connection. Fantastic. Any workarounds? Like download the master list manually?

Guest deleted34304850 Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 get your isp to figure out why you cannot be served by github. you're paying them for a service, if they cannot provide you with access to github, then they have a problem. you may want to look into another provider that can actually give you access to the internet without whatever restriction your isp is putting on github.

I don't even have cell signal to tether. So it's either HughesNet or ViaSat.Their customer support couldn't tell anything aside from that it just isn't compatible with satellite internet. Which makes zero sense.
