Blayth
I cant imagine making this mod would be too difficult but since I have no idea how I thought I’d post a request. To give my request context: as a player, whereas ghosts and skeletons don’t phase me at all I have somewhat of a phobia of zombies... which as I've learnt unfortunately seems to extend to skyrim's draugr as well, which is especially frustrating as you cant seem to complete a quest to shine an NPC's shoes without being sent down a draugr crypt to retrieve the Magical Shining Cloth of Antioch or whatever. My request would be any combination of solutions like replacing them with something mildly less terrifying + silent + unable to shout (something humanoid probably isn’t a good idea though seeing as I tried the pre-existing 'draugr to elder replacer' and managed to develop a new fear of old-people instead), making them all totally passive, setting up the player as being friendly to them or whatever else anyone can think of that just means I don’t have to deal with being attacked by them and they can stay sleeping soundly in their coffins. A quick fix would suit me fine, though if any potential modder wanted to make it lore friendly there's a pre-existing book called 'Amongst the Draugr' that according to TES wiki accounts a mage slowly learning to approach them without being attacked, which is essentially what I'm looking for. CommodoreAxephante
Hmm, what if there was an attainable effect like: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Voice_of_the_Sky that effected Draugr instead of Animals? Might be too temporary to suit your needs, but I'm guessing that wouldn't be too difficult for someone to cook up. Or even a spell that makes you invisible to undead? CommodoreAxephante
Hey, I found this - might be of assistance. Press ` to enter the console, click on your character, then type "addtofaction 000e0cdb 0" and press enter. This should add your character to the "draugr ally faction", after which point, according to the UESP wiki, "most draugr will no longer attack".
