suntox
i'm trying to find info to create a small straight forward mod in order to make the game more enjoyable while i still didnt finish it for the first time. i looked on various sites/forums but it seems all pretty advanced and leaving out the basic stuff. the mod:all difficulty settings use the "very hard" setting for determining the damage caused by the player.all difficulty settings have the enemy damage multiplied by 3.(and maybe increase the overall max range of combat (accuracy on higher distances), but if that requires to modify all weapons or causes considerably more work, i rather skip it.) my problem:where/how to find the relevant scripts inside the esm it would be great if anyone could point me to sources that dont hide the relevant info within thousands of pages of stuff. or maybe someone realy experienced can create the difficulty settings mod realy quick and upload it? :D thanks in advance edit: found a working link to fomm. any idea where in the fallout3.esm i can find the difficulty settings stuff? suntox
actualy forget this. i will just use player.setav or whatever the command was to reduce the health by 60% or so. same effect, less hassle ;) edit: ok, just tried it and it seems pretty good. if you feel the combat is too easy, i can recommend it. it even makes using food as health source more viable. i reduced my toons health from 350 to 100 (on "very hard" setting). tried it in a mirelurk cavern and it feels much better now. even died 2 times now :D gonna test it thouroughly tonight. the console command is:player.setav health 100 and another thing i can recommend which i realy like is getting seargent RL-3 as companion.then lowering his health from 350 to 50, setting him as essential, telling him he should stay back a bit and removing his plasma pistol (so he only got his flamethrower left). makes him pretty fun and balanced imho. setessential 9426e 1prid 94285removeitem 7c10csetav health
