WW2 Weapons

Well people who want to keep the era of the post apocalyptic DC in 2077 don't have to download the guns. These are for people who don't really care if they have a gun not from the age. So please stop posting about its irrelevance in the game.

Then why don't you go play COD and MOHAA if you want to go save Private Ryan with impossibly rare german guns you've never actually touched in your life?

Like what German guns?

Like the ones I listed in my first post in this thread.

FG-42's are rare as hell. So are G.41's and G.43s, STG-44's don't exactly grow on trees, either (and neither does the now-exceedingly rare 7.92x33 ammo)

Those were all late-war production weapons and only made in very small numbers, especially compared to the literal flood of guns that already existed like the MP-40, K98, M1 Garand, Grease Gun, M1 Carbine, Thompsons, etc.

I thought any student of WW2 firearms would know that.

NKWoodruff - The STEN would truly be fit as a fiddle for the wasteland. Especially since it is so easy to manufacture and made by the boatload!

And then Lee Enfield I would hope, withe the SMLE version being in use for some 40 plus years and seeing service with the Canadian Army during WW1 and WW2 it would seem possible that a few were floating aroubnd the wastes

i agree

the sten gun would be perfect

same as any other mass produced stamped metal guns

ingram maybe?

grease gun for sure

owen gun was pretty reliable and east to make (good old aussie ww2 smg)

would love to see a bren gun, but i doubt it

smle would be awesome (jungle version even better), im sure the americans rechambered some from .303 to 30-06 during ww2

off topic

i wouldn't mind seeing a few different zip gun variations

as the current modding stands (unfortunately) no fixed mag bolt actions are possible. it seems that bethsoft may have really hosed custom animating and it may not be possible at all to ad new animations without overwriting vanilla. stuff like the tommy gun, m3a1, and BAR could be possible though

i don´t know exactly, what "fixed mag bolt action" but the m1 Garand could be possible with the railway rifle animations (semi-auto fire, top-loading internam magazine) ... no shell ejection, though, but i don´t know if thats tied to the fire/reload animations ...

I figured a Lee Enfield would be so painfully obvious as to not need to be mentioned twice, lol. There's plenty of enthusiasts that have Lee-Enfields in their safes here stateside, if you want one they are pretty easy to find!

Ingram M10's and M11's would definitely be around, and Grease Guns are still in military armory mothballs.

But the Owens gun isn't a likely find on this continent.

BREN's are outstanding LMG's but they are very rare stateside.

SMLE's haven't ever been rechambered to .30-06 as far as I know, I do know that some 2A and 2A1's have been produced in .308/7.62 NATO.. and that's the Enfield I'm looking for :)

Russian weaponry can be modelled too (i think)

Mosin rifle (mostly it's like K98) uses 7.62 ammo

PPSh (Shpagin SMG) 9mm, very steady and durable due to simply construction, althought it lacks precision (funny, but combat shotgun looks like PPSh)

There are also a wariety of other SMG's (like PPS - Sudanov SMG aand others)

TT pistol 9mm (russian replicated Colt 1911) powerful handgun

Nagant revolver

All of those are common (in exUSSR) and still used just like american weaponry from WWII (as previos authors wrote)

I'm trying to get this gun

finished and into the game...although I'm looking at a whole lot of different ones, so it'll be finished once I decide to put the time needed into.

The background image is a pic of the original gun I found. Hope you guys like it

I know its a bit older than WW2 but still :)
